NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at 6:30 p.m. on the 12th day of November, 2020, at 74 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York and via WebEx at https://ontariocountyny.webex.com (The meeting code is 718 078 254 and the meeting password is 2020. Call in using phone number 1-408-418-9388) concerning proposed Local Law No.6 (Intro) of 2020, entitled "A Local Law Applying the Management Compensation Program to Certain County Officers Appointed for Definite Terms for the Year 2021," which provides:


For the application in 2021 of the Management Compensation Program, as amended, by Res. 315-2020, to provide step increases to county officers appointed for definite terms.

At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning the same.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON 2021 TENTATIVE BUDGET

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Ontario will meet at 74 Ontario St., 2nd Floor Board Room, Canandaigua, New York, on the 12th day of November 2020, for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the Tentative Budget of said County for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2021. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that copies of the entire Tentative Budget are available online at the county website and also in print at the Office of the Clerk of said Board of Supervisors, Municipal Building, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York, where it may be inspected or procured by any interested person during business hours.


FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing on the Ontario-Yates Counties’ Flint Creek Small Watershed Protection District Budget in the amount of $36,378.00 will be held at the aforementioned time and place.

Pursuant to Section 359 of the County Law, the maximum salaries that may be fixed and payable during said fiscal year to members of said Board of Supervisors and to the Chairman thereof, respectively, are hereby specified at follows:

                              Members of the Board of Supervisors                   $14,938.00 Chairman of the Board of Supervisors                  $11,906.00

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That a public hearing will be held before the Board of Supervisors of Ontario County at the Supervisors’ Chambers, 74 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York, on the 12th day of November, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. concerning the Proposed Capital Improvement Plan. You may also join the meeting via via WebEx at https://ontariocountyny.webex.com. The meeting code is 718 078 254 and the meeting password is 2020. You may also call in using phone number 1-408-418-9388, at which time any person may be heard; and

            WHEREAS, The Ontario County Board of Supervisors, pursuant to Resolution No. 201-99, established the process for adopting a six-year, long-range Capital Improvement Plan, and pursuant to said resolution, the County Administrator filed with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors the 2021 – 2026 proposed long-range Capital Improvement Plan.  Such proposed Plan is now referred to the Board of Supervisors for a public hearing and adoption in compliance with Resolution No. 201-99; and

            WHEREAS, The Proposed Capital Improvement Plan includes projects in the following categories:

The proposed cost of the projects scheduled to be undertaken in the first year of the CIP is noted by category; revenue for these projects comes from federal and state aid, grants, county sources, and user fees:

Major Construction & Renovation ($764,041); Major Equipment ($2,412,860);   Buildings and Grounds maintenance items ($949,000);   County Parks ($169,000); Fleet ($1,511,285);   Highway and Bridge Projects ($9,502,264);   Finger Lakes Community College ($3,074,999); Categories wholly supported through user fees and other non-County funds:

Canandaigua, Honeoye Lake, and Rt. 332 Sewer Districts ($1,935,000).


All of the projects and costs are subject to change at adoption of the final Capital Improvement Plan by the Board of Supervisors.

          WHEREAS, Copies of the proposed long-range Capital Improvement Plan are available for review at the Office of the Clerk of Board of Supervisors, Municipal Building, 20 Ontario Street, Canandaigua, New York, during regular business hours.
