    This new group has formed out of the need for honesty ans support amongst mothers struggling with a mood and/or anxiety disorder that occurs during pregnancy, or after the birth of a new baby, This includes mothers struggling with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Facilitated by Maureen Kellogg of Thompson's Social Work Department, Thompson Health Lactation Consultant/RN Courtney Phillips and a volunteer from the community. The group provides opportunities to talk with others who have been through or are currently walking through this same season of life. Call 585-396-6295 for information.

    May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month. With warmer weather, it’s time to remind everyone to be on the alert and to share the road with motorcyclists. Both motorcyclists and motorists need to be aware of their surroundings. Checking blind spots, mirrors and using turn signals are necessary when changing lanes and when passing. Summer months are especially dangerous for teens on the road. Fortunately, most teen motor vehicle crashes are preventable, and proven strategies can improve the safety of young drivers on the road.
