It's estimated that 5 to 25 percent of those who have had surgery for breast cancer will develop some degree of lymphedema. How is it diagnosed? Can it be prevented? Can it be managed? What occupational and physical therapy treatment options are available? Presented by the Breast Cancer Coalition, this free educational seminar will offer answers to these questions and more, with Angela Kiklowicz of Thompson Health as the speaker. An occupational therapist and licensed massage therapist, Kiklowicz is certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy for the treatment of lymphedema and other swelling disorders. For more information, call the Breast Cancer Coalition at 585-473-8177.
