Attendees will learn what foods contain carbohydrates, as well as how many and which carbohydrates you can eat to help you achieve blood glucose goals, using the information to plan menus. This support group meets every other month and welcomes all looking for support in dealing with all types of lymphedema. Those attending the meetings are welcome to share their experiences with lymphedema, including forms of treatment and therapy. The group is facilitated by Angela Kiklowicz, a Thompson Health occupational therapist and licensed massage therapist who is certified in Complete Decongestive Therapy for the treatment of lymphedema.
