County Road 28 @ Shortsville Road: Intersection Improvements
Ontario County Department of Public Works will close the County Road 28 at Shortsville Road intersection beginning at 7:00 a.m. June 1, 2020 for approximately fourteen (14) weeks as work crews’ complete improvements at the intersection. Vehicles traveling on County Road 28 will be detoured using the following route: Canandaigua-Farmington Townline Road, County Road 8, NY 96. Vehicles traveling on Shortsville Road will be detoured using the following route: County Road 8, NY 96, Sand Hill Road.

County Road 39: Rehabilitation (beginning 6/1/2020)Ontario County Department of Public Works will close a portion of County Road 39 between Eddy Road & Village of Bloomfield beginning at 7:00 a.m. June 1, 2020 for approximately sixteen (16) weeks as work crews complete the replacement of several culverts. Vehicles traveling northbound on County Road 39 will be detoured using the following route: Main Street, NY64, Eddy Road. Vehicles traveling southbound on County Road 39 will be detoured using the following route: Eddy Road, NY 64, Main Street. A map depicting the project detour can be seen below.

Main Street Fishers: Bridge Replacement (Beginning 5/4/2020)Ontario County will be closing Main Street Fishers Road located in the Town of Victor beginning May 4, 2020. The road closure is required to allow our contractor to replace the bridge over Irondequoit Creek. The bridge is located just east of Old Dutch Road near the Monroe/Ontario County line. The road is scheduled to be reopened September 18, 2020. The posted detour will be County Road 42 (Wangum Road), NY Route 251 and Mile Square Road. A map depicting the project detour is enclosed.
The County will be notifying town officials, local schools, emergency service providers and the post office of this closing.
